This leadership role partners closely with executive leadership, real estate development, and property management teams to drive financial strategy, acquisition analysis, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio performance.<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity for a finance leader who enjoys complex real estate transactions, affordable housing finance, and working on projects that create lasting community impact.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Position Summary<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Reporting to executive finance leadership, the Senior Finance Manager will oversee financial operations related to real estate development projects, affordable housing portfolios, post-acquisition entities, and related business operations. The role will lead budgeting, forecasting, debt management, compliance reporting, financial modeling, and strategic analysis while supporting critical organizational initiatives and growth opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate combines technical accounting expertise with strong financial modeling capabilities and a deep understanding of affordable housing and real estate finance structures.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Real Estate &amp; Development Finance<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and analyze acquisition and development financial models.<\/li>\n<li>Support financing transactions, capital planning, and debt management activities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and enhance financial models for existing and proposed developments.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate financial risks, opportunities, and investment scenarios for development projects.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with development and property management teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Review financial aspects of acquisitions, closings, draw requests, and financing documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Financial Planning &amp; Analysis<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.<\/li>\n<li>Provide executive leadership with KPI reporting and strategic financial recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Perform complex financial analysis and scenario modeling to support business decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare budget-to-actual reporting and variance analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Compliance &amp; Reporting<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee financial compliance reporting related to affordable housing, grants, contracts, and financing agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate audits, tax schedules, and regulatory reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with lender, investor, governmental, and contractual obligations.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Accounting Operations<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee financial reporting for assigned entities and portfolios.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting data, financial systems, and reporting processes.<\/li>\n<li>Support cash management, reserve management, and cost allocation methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Leadership<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff.<\/li>\n<li>Build collaborative partnerships across finance, development, and operations teams.<\/li>\n<li>Promote knowledge sharing, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Education<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance reporting.<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of management or supervisory experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting real estate portfolios, development projects, or affordable housing organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Strong preference for candidates with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Real Estate Development (RED) experience<\/li>\n<li>HUD program knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience<\/li>\n<li>Affordable housing finance and compliance expertise<\/li>\n<li>Real estate acquisitions and financing experience<\/li>\n<li>Property management accounting experience<\/li>\n<li>Multi-entity accounting and reporting experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with nonprofit or community development organizations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Technical Skills<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with property management and accounting systems.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of:\n<ul>\n<li>GAAP<\/li>\n<li>Budgeting and forecasting<\/li>\n<li>Debt and banking structures<\/li>\n<li>Financial statement analysis<\/li>\n<li>Audit and tax support<\/li>\n<li>Data analytics and reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Ability to convert large data sets into actionable financial insights.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"
