This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who can step in, understand the moving pieces, and help keep a strong accounting function running smoothly.<\/p>\n<p>As the<strong> Controller<\/strong>, you would be responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overseeing daily accounting and finance operations<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activity<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reporting packages<\/li>\n<li>Supporting budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, and financial analysis<\/li>\n<li>Working heavily in Excel for reporting, data review, uploads, and exports<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring cash activity, account balances, and intercompany transactions<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls<\/li>\n<li>Supporting and supervising a small accounting team<\/li>\n<li>Partnering with leadership and internal teams on financial questions and reporting needs<\/li>\n<li>Staying hands-on in the details while also providing guidance and oversight<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This team is<strong> warm, steady, and collaborative<\/strong>. They need someone<strong> sharp, practical, and approachable<\/strong> who can bring strong accounting leadership while working closely with the people around them.<\/p>\n<p>To be considered, you should have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BA\/BS in Accounting with supervisory accounting experience<\/li>\n<li>Budgeting and nonprofit accounting experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong Excel skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a <strong>temporary Controller opportunity with strong long-term potential<\/strong>.
