Our client, a growing family-owned food importer and distributor, is seeking a <strong>Purchasing\/Procurement Lead<\/strong> to join their team in Auburn, WA.<\/p>\n<p>This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering the chance to step into a highly visible role supporting inventory planning, purchasing, supplier management, and business growth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own purchasing and inventory planning for an assigned product portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Manage relationships with domestic and international suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead times, and service issues<\/li>\n<li>Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs<\/li>\n<li>Analyze inventory investment, cash flow, and supplier performance<\/li>\n<li>Partner closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Category Management<\/li>\n<li>Support the company&#8217;s future transition to NetSuite<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we&#8217;re looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong vendor management and negotiation skills are a plus<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate Excel skills with experience tracking and analyzing data<\/li>\n<li>ERP experience (NetSuite is ideal!)<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented, communicative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Schedule:<\/strong> Monday-Friday, 100% onsite in Auburn, WA with free parking on site (future hybrid flexibility available after conversion).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div>This is a highly visible role offering direct partnership with the Director of FP&amp;A and CFO, along with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping shape and improve a growing purchasing and inventory planning function.<\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div>Please apply now!
