This role will be responsible for cost accounting activities, inventory accounting, standard cost maintenance, variance analysis, month-end close, and financial reporting within a <strong>SAP S\/4HANA<\/strong> environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of manufacturing accounting principles, and hands-on experience utilizing SAP to support operational and financial decision-making.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes related to cost accounting and inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze manufacturing costs, material usage, labor costs, overhead absorption, and production variances.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and review standard costs, product costing structures, and bill of material (BOM) costing data within SAP S\/4HANA.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare inventory reconciliations and ensure accuracy of inventory valuation and related general ledger accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and explain purchase price variances (PPV), production variances, and inventory adjustments.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Plant Management to analyze cost drivers and identify opportunities for improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Support physical inventory counts, cycle count programs, and inventory reserve analyses.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain cost center reporting and profitability analysis using SAP S\/4HANA reporting tools.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor manufacturing and inventory transactions to ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.<\/li>\n<li>Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis related to inventory and costing.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and controls within the SAP S\/4HANA environment.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in ERP enhancements, testing, process improvements, and system implementations related to cost accounting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.<\/li>\n<li>4+ years of accounting experience, including cost accounting, inventory accounting, or manufacturing finance.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience utilizing <strong>SAP S\/4HANA<\/strong>, SAP FICO, Product Costing, Material Ledger, or related SAP modules.<\/li>\n<li>SOX internal controls from a multi-national publicly traded company<\/li>\n<li>Strong excel skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills (written and verbal)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Power BI and Python skills are a plus<\/li>\n<li>Ability to business partner and collaborate cross functionally<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/ZmluYW5jZXBoaS40NDc0OS4xMjU4NEBiZWFjb25oaWxsLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">T1466078EG_1783708449<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><a id=\"otherId\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/T1466078EG_1783708449\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":3770,"template":"","meta":{"_relevanssi_hide_post":"","_relevanssi_hide_content":"","_relevanssi_pin_for_all":"","_relevanssi_pin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_unpin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_include_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_exclude_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_no_append":"","_relevanssi_related_not_related":"","_relevanssi_related_posts":"","_relevanssi_noindex_reason":"","inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Princeton, New Jersey","_application":"financephi.44749.12584@beaconhill.aplitrak.com","_company_name":"Beacon Hill Staffing Group","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[201,202],"job-types":[2,293],"class_list":["post-129054","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","job-type-full-time","job-type-temp-to-hire"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.0 -
