This position pays $19.44\/hour and works Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break. The role supports transportation, freight, and supply chain operations while leveraging analytics and AI-driven tools to improve efficiency, control costs, and maintain service levels. This assignment is expected to last at least one month and will continue until a permanent hire is made.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate and track daily transportation and freight activities to ensure on-time delivery<\/li>\n<li>Analyze freight spend, carrier performance, and transportation data to identify cost-saving opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Support rate negotiations, freight bids, network optimization, and shipment consolidation initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Assist with invoicing, discrepancy resolution, freight accruals, and budget tracking<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Planning, and Customer Service teams<\/li>\n<li>Maintain transportation procedures and support continuous improvement projects<\/li>\n<li>Provide shipping support, including processing Bills of Lading, checking in drivers, verifying trailer temperatures, and maintaining shipping records<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Candidate Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations, or a related field preferred<\/li>\n<li>0-1+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to support operational decisions<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
