This hybrid position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced litigators and gain hands-on experience handling a diverse caseload involving premises liability, personal injury, and general liability matters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements\/Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Active Texas Bar license in good standing.<\/li>\n<li>Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of civil litigation experience preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in one or more of the following practice areas is a plus:<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>General liability<\/li>\n<li>Premises liability<\/li>\n<li>Bodily injury<\/li>\n<li>Product liability<\/li>\n<li>Construction defect litigation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with depositions, court appearances, motion practice, and discovery.<\/li>\n<li>Mediation and trial experience is beneficial but not required.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard legal technology tools.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational, analytical, and client communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Core Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Oral Communication<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicates clearly and effectively in professional settings.<\/li>\n<li>Listens actively, responds thoughtfully, and collaborates effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Written Communication<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Produces well-organized legal documents with strong attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates excellent legal writing, editing, and proofreading skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Professionalism &amp; Ethics<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintains confidentiality of client and firm information.<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to all professional and ethical obligations applicable to the practice of law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage a billable caseload under attorney supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Draft, review, and respond to pleadings, motions, and written discovery.<\/li>\n<li>Attend hearings, court appearances, and client meetings as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare for, take, and defend depositions.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Support mediation and trial preparation efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and legal support staff to achieve favorable case outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hybrid and remote work arrangement.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to a broad range of civil defense litigation matters.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative and team-oriented legal practice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Compensation based on experience &#8211;
