A Beacon Hill client, a growing company in Cherry Hill, NJ, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering stability and long-term growth potential within a collaborative accounting department. This role will be responsible for supporting key accounting functions, owning the month-end close process, and contributing to financial reporting and process improvement initiatives. The pay rate is $40-$50\/hour, depending on experience.<\/p>\n

\n

Position Summary:<\/p>\n

* Manage general ledger accounting activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations<\/p>\n

* Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting<\/p>\n

* Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules<\/p>\n

* Assist with financial analysis, budgeting, and ad hoc reporting requests<\/p>\n

* Partner with internal departments to improve accounting processes and controls<\/p>\n

* Support audit requests and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures<\/p>\n

\n

Technical Qualifications:<\/p>\n

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field<\/p>\n

* 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate accounting environment<\/p>\n

* Strong experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting<\/p>\n

* Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)<\/p>\n

* Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs<\/p>\n

* CPA or CPA-track candidates are highly preferred<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
