Accounts Payable Specialist<\/p>\n

Location: Union City, CA (On-Site)<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
A growing construction and specialty contracting company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounts payable processing, vendor management, invoice review, payment processing, and month-end support.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/div>\n

* Process high-volume vendor invoices and weekly payments<\/div>\n
* Perform PO and 3-way match invoice review<\/div>\n
* Coordinate approvals and resolve invoice discrepancies<\/div>\n
* Maintain vendor relationships and respond to payment inquiries<\/div>\n
* Support month-end close and AP reconciliations<\/div>\n
* Assist with sales and use tax administration<\/div>\n
* Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/div>\n

* 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience<\/div>\n
* Construction industry AP experience required<\/div>\n
* Experience with full-cycle AP and 3-way matching<\/div>\n
* Experience with ERP systems (Vista\/Viewpoint preferred)<\/div>\n
* Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills<\/div>\n
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Preferred<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/div>\n

* Construction accounting experience<\/div>\n
* ERP implementation or system upgrade experience<\/div>\n
* Knowledge of sales and use tax<\/div>\n
* Process improvement mindset<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
