This role will lead a team of AR professionals while serving as a key partner to accounting and operational stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, a hands-on management style, and expertise handling complex billing environments, including client billbacks and reconciliation issues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the day-to-day accounts receivable function, including invoicing, cash application, collections, and account maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of 3-5 AR professionals<\/li>\n<li>Assign and prioritize workloads to ensure timely and accurate processing<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the escalation point for billing disputes, collections issues, and customer account concerns<\/li>\n<li>Oversee customer onboarding activities, including portal registrations and vendor documentation<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement collection strategies to reduce outstanding balances and improve cash flow<\/li>\n<li>Review aging reports and monitor high-risk accounts<\/li>\n<li>Approve write-offs, credit memos, and payment adjustments within established guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the resolution of billing discrepancies, client billbacks, short payments, and unapplied cash<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and analyze AR reporting, including aging schedules, collection trends, cash forecasts, and key performance metrics<\/li>\n<li>Support month-end and year-end close activities, audits, and financial reporting requirements<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred<\/li>\n<li>8+ years of accounts receivable and\/or accounting experience<\/li>\n<li>2+ years of leadership experience managing an AR team<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience with collections, dispute resolution, and AR reporting<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience managing complex billback processes and billing discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with ERP systems;
