This individual will partner closely with finance leadership to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting while supporting key audit, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the organization through annual audit activities and assist in resolving audit-related issues.<\/li>\n<li>Review accounting workpapers, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, disclosures, and other financial reporting packages.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze financial results and provide recommendations related to reporting accuracy, accounting treatment, and operational effectiveness.<\/li>\n<li>Review balance sheet reconciliations and assist with cleanup efforts, documentation improvements, and process enhancements.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a technical accounting resource for complex accounting transactions and reporting matters.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with finance leadership to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls.<\/li>\n<li>Support the preparation and review of nonprofit tax filings and related regulatory reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Research accounting guidance and provide recommendations regarding financial reporting and compliance matters.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with special projects and other accounting initiatives as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Required Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in financial reporting, financial statement preparation, and audit support.<\/li>\n<li>Experience preparing and reviewing financial statement footnotes and disclosures.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to evaluate accounting records, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.<\/li>\n<li>Experience reviewing accounting work and advising leadership on accounting processes and reporting matters.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/ZmluYW5jZWRjLjQzMDIyLjEyNTg0QGJlYWNvbmhpbGwuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">F7302026_1785418046<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><a id=\"otherId\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/F7302026_1785418046\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":3770,"template":"","meta":{"_relevanssi_hide_post":"","_relevanssi_hide_content":"","_relevanssi_pin_for_all":"","_relevanssi_pin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_unpin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_include_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_exclude_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_no_append":"","_relevanssi_related_not_related":"","_relevanssi_related_posts":"","_relevanssi_noindex_reason":"","inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Washington, District of Columbia","_application":"financedc.43022.12584@beaconhill.aplitrak.com","_company_name":"Beacon Hill Staffing Group","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[201,203],"job-types":[2],"class_list":["post-130166","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","job-type-full-time"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.1 -
