The ideal candidate can be shown something once and execute accurately, with a proactive approach to managing daily accounting work and deadlines. This is a contract-hire opportunity and is 5-days in office. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Process incoming invoices and customer\/vendor invoicing activity accurately and timely.<\/li>\n<li>Record invoice and payment activity into the general ledger.<\/li>\n<li>Perform accurate and thorough bank reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Run reports to confirm invoices are paid and payment activity is complete.<\/li>\n<li>Cut checks and\/or process ACH payments on schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the CFO with financial reports and accounting support as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Apply accounting activity to grants and assist with grant accounting processes.<\/li>\n<li>Cover grant billing responsibilities during vacations or absences as needed;
