Schedule would be 8:00am &#8211; 5:00pm. Pay = $20\/hour. Temp to hire.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Job Responsibilities<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a courteous, professional, and timely manner, providing prompt, accurate, and efficient member transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Receive share drafts\/checks and cash for deposit to accounts, verify amounts, examine share drafts\/checks for proper endorsement, and accurately enter transactions into system records.  Placing holds on accounts, when necessary, based on Credit Union policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Process withdrawals from accounts and\/or share draft\/check cashing, verify amounts, and enter withdrawals into system accurately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Cash share drafts\/checks from a variety of accounts upon proper verification according to credit union policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Receive mortgage, consumer loan, and other payments, and ensure the payments match balances due. Enter payments into computer. Generate member receipts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with mail or email transactions, when applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Answer incoming Credit Union calls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Issue travel cards, official checks, gift cards and U.S. Savings Bonds. (If Applicable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote, explain, and cross\u2010sell other credit union services such as consumer and mortgage loans, IRAs, certificates, safe deposit boxes, debit and credit cards, on\u2010line banking, travel cards, and official checks. (If Applicable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Balance cash drawer at end of the shift and compare totaled amount to computer\u2010generated proof sheet. Research and resolve discrepancies. Report any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary. May help other tellers research and resolve discrepancies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that the teller station is properly stocked with forms, supplies, brochures, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain an up\u2010to\u2010date and comprehensive knowledge on all credit union products and services that are handled or promoted by tellers. Maintain an up\u2010to\u2010date and comprehensive knowledge on all related policies and procedures, rules and regulations for the teller area, including robbery procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Cross\u2010sell credit union services such as travel cards, gift cards, debit cards, credit cards, on\u2010line banking, or other promotional products where available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist members in opening, closing and transacting on Certificate of Deposit (CD) Accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist Members in setting up online banking and mobile applications and troubleshooting issues with online or mobile products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Open or close accounts in person or online and service existing accounts.
