This role partners closely with plant leadership to drive financial performance, maintain strong internal controls, support operational decision-making, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The Cost Accountant manages cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory controls, variance analysis, and month-end close activities while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lead all cost accounting and financial functions, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, operational reports, and KPIs.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Develop financial models and operational analyses to support business decisions.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Maintain and oversee standard costing methodologies and inventory valuation.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Analyze manufacturing variances including labor, material, overhead, scrap, and absorption.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Monitor inventory accuracy and partner with operations on cycle counts and physical inventories.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Evaluate production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Support capital expenditure tracking and ROI analysis.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ensure strong financial controls over plant operations and inventory processes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Coordinate internal and external audit requests.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Maintain compliance with SOX requirements where applicable.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Education<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing environment.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Strong cost accounting and inventory experience required.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Experience supporting multi-site or high-volume manufacturing operations is a plus.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Technical Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Strong understanding of GAAP and manufacturing accounting principles.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Experience with ERP systems such NetSuite.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Advanced Excel skills required.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis tools.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/ZmluYW5jZXBoaS41NDcyMS4xMjU4NEBiZWFjb25oaWxsLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">T99990EG_1785793346<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><a id=\"otherId\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/T99990EG_1785793346\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":3770,"template":"","meta":{"_relevanssi_hide_post":"","_relevanssi_hide_content":"","_relevanssi_pin_for_all":"","_relevanssi_pin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_unpin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_include_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_exclude_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_no_append":"","_relevanssi_related_not_related":"","_relevanssi_related_posts":"","_relevanssi_noindex_reason":"","inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Royersford, Pennsylvania","_application":"financephi.54721.12584@beaconhill.aplitrak.com","_company_name":"Beacon Hill Staffing Group","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[201,202],"job-types":[2,16],"class_list":["post-130366","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","job-type-full-time","job-type-temporary-contract"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.1 -
