This is a highly visible position where you&#8217;ll be the go-to resource for sales and use tax compliance, audits, and process improvements across nearly every state in the country.<\/p>\n<p>With the current team member departing, they&#8217;re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, keep the day-to-day tax function operating smoothly, and serve as a trusted partner to leadership.<\/p>\n<h3>What You&#8217;ll Do<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage multi-state sales and use tax filings and compliance activities<\/li>\n<li>Own day-to-day tax operations, notices, and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, including gathering support, responding to inquiries, and helping drive audits to resolution<\/li>\n<li>Research tax issues and provide guidance on SALT-related matters<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to improve processes and create efficiencies<\/li>\n<li>Partner closely with the Controller and CFO on tax-related initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What We&#8217;re Looking For<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of SALT (Sales &amp; Use Tax) experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong multi-state tax experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing audits and working directly with auditors<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate independently in a sole-contributor role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Preferred Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Avalara experience<\/li>\n<li>Background as a SALT Manager, Tax Accountant, State &amp; Local Tax Specialist, Indirect Tax Specialist, or similar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Why Apply?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Take ownership of an entire tax function rather than being one piece of a larger team<\/li>\n<li>Work directly with an approachable Controller and CFO who value new ideas and process improvements<\/li>\n<li>Gain visibility within a growing national organization<\/li>\n<li>Hybrid schedule with flexibility and a beautiful Bellevue office<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to be considered for a long-term position<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>If you&#8217;re a SALT professional who enjoys solving problems, managing audits, and keeping multi-state tax operations running smoothly, we&#8217;d love to hear from you!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apply today!
