This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented paralegal with hands-on experience reviewing title, survey, zoning, and other due diligence materials in connection with complex commercial closings. The position is based in <strong>Washington, DC<\/strong> and offers <strong>hybrid flexibility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and analyze title commitments, title policies, and underlying recorded title documents.<\/li>\n<li>Interpret ALTA surveys and zoning reports to identify potential issues impacting commercial real estate transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Review and summarize declarations, REAs, CCRs, leases, estoppels, SNDAs, UCC searches, lien searches, and judgment searches.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review UCC financing statements and assist with closing and post-closing documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate directly with attorneys, title companies, underwriters, surveyors, zoning consultants, and internal teams to keep diligence matters moving forward.<\/li>\n<li>Manage multiple active transactions at different stages while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all client and firm matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What You Bring<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong commercial real estate transactional experience, preferably in a law firm environment.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with title, survey, zoning, UCC filings, due diligence, and lease abstracting.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, clients, and outside contacts.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and real estate-related research and due diligence tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree preferred.
