We have a client who needs help YESTERDAY on a contract basis (with potential to turn full-time). This Senior Payroll Specialist will have a chance to be part of a reorganization of sorts, processing while having a say in what could be done better. <\/p>\n<p>As a Senior Payroll Specialist in this position, you would be responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Processing multi-state payroll for a large employee population<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, and deductions<\/li>\n<li>Researching and resolving payroll discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Preparing payroll reports and variance analysis<\/li>\n<li>Partnering closely with HR, Finance, and operational teams<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining payroll data integrity and system accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Supporting payroll audits, controls, and compliance activities<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with payroll system enhancements and process improvements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on in payroll processing while also thinking critically about the data. We&#8217;re looking for someone who can identify trends, ask questions, and help support a growing payroll function during a period of transition and change.<\/p>\n<p>If you have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years of payroll processing experience<\/li>\n<li>Multi-state payroll experience, including California<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting large employee populations<\/li>\n<li>ADP experience required (could we overlook it if you have the experience to offset it? Yes.)<\/li>\n<li>Strong Excel and reporting skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in fast-paced, changing environments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please apply and we will reach out!
