$20-$22\/hr &#8211; Alexandria, VA"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong><a id=\"myCustomID\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/A1470289DC-Temp_1786651306\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Our client, a nonprofit association is seeking a Part-time Editorial Assistant to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Alexandria, Virginia. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>About The Job:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the day-to-day operations of a peer-reviewed medical journal, including manuscript submissions, peer review, and editorial workflows<\/li>\n<li>Process and review manuscript submissions, revisions, and required documentation through the journal&#8217;s manuscript management system<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with authors, reviewers, editors, and publishing staff regarding submissions, deadlines, and peer-review activities<\/li>\n<li>Maintain editorial records, conflict-of-interest documentation, reviewer CME records, and correspondence<\/li>\n<li>Provide administrative, scheduling, and reporting support to the editorial leadership team<\/li>\n<li>Assist with workflow management, process improvements, and special publication-related projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About You:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree preferred;
