This individual will partner closely with executive leadership to provide financial visibility, guide business decisions, and support profitable, sustainable growth.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic finance executive with strong technical accounting expertise, operational finance discipline, leadership presence, and the ability to build scalable financial infrastructure in a growing organization.<\/p>\n<h1>Key Responsibilities<\/h1>\n<h2>Financial Strategy and Executive Leadership<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with the CEO, President, ownership, and\/or senior leadership team to develop and execute the organization&#8217;s financial strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Provide financial insight and recommendations that support growth, profitability, capital allocation, and long-term planning.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on financial performance, business risks, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the finance and accounting function with a focus on accuracy, accountability, scalability, and business partnership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Accounting, Reporting, and Controls<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related processes.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial statements, management reports, and operational dashboards.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, maintain, and enhance internal controls, policies, procedures, and compliance standards.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate external audit, tax, banking, insurance, and other professional service relationships as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Planning<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the annual budgeting process, recurring forecasts, cash flow projections, and long-range financial planning.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain financial models that provide visibility into revenue, margin, operating expense, working capital, and profitability trends.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze financial and operational performance to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with department leaders to improve financial discipline, reporting accuracy, and business decision-making.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Cash Flow, Treasury, and Risk Management<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee cash management, banking relationships, debt compliance, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate capital structure, financing needs, investment priorities, and risk mitigation strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor insurance, legal, tax, and compliance matters in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure appropriate controls and reporting mechanisms are in place to protect company assets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Leadership, Team Development, and Systems<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.<\/li>\n<li>Improve financial systems, processes, reporting tools, and automation to support scalability and operational efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Create a culture of accountability, service, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance organization.<\/li>\n<li>Provide clear leadership, coaching, and performance expectations to direct and indirect reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Qualifications<\/h1>\n<h2>Required Experience<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, including senior finance leadership responsibility.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and internal controls.<\/li>\n<li>Strong GAAP knowledge and technical accounting foundation, with the ability to balance strategic leadership and hands-on execution.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to partner with executive leadership and translate financial information into actionable business recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Experience leading, developing, and scaling finance and accounting teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Preferred Background<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field;
