This is a full-time opportunity supporting a busy commercial real estate practice that handles sophisticated transactions across a variety of asset types and financing structures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The position follows a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote. Hours are 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. The salary range for this position is $70k-$130k, depending on experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of commercial real estate experience, including substantial title and survey review experience. Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple transactions simultaneously, working directly with clients and outside parties, and taking ownership of deal timelines from start to finish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Skills required and Job Duties include the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Job Duties:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Review purchase and sale agreements and track critical transaction deadlines throughout the deal lifecycle<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Draft amendments, assignments, consents, extension notices, and organizational charts related to real estate transactions<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Review title commitments, surveys, and related due diligence materials<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prepare title memoranda and draft title objection letters to address and resolve title issues<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coordinate closings, including preparing signature packets, legal opinions, incumbency certificates, and closing documentation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Communicate directly with clients, title companies, lenders, and other outside parties to keep transactions moving forward<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Obtain zoning letters, lien searches, property information, and prepare summaries of findings<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prepare and distribute closing binders following transaction completion<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assist with entity formations, foreign registrations, operating agreements, and obtaining EINs and corporate documentation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prepare and file various regulatory filings, including Form ID, Form D, and Blue Sky filings<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Qualifications:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strong title and survey review experience is required<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience supporting acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, and due diligence processes<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to independently manage multiple complex transactions and deadlines<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience working directly with clients, lenders, title companies, and other transaction parties<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Knowledge of Illinois real estate practices, transfer taxes, and deed preparation is a
