We are partnering with an established Portland-area company that needs an AP Operations Analyst to provide temporary support a<strong>cross accounting operations, reporting, and special projects<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This is a great opportunity for someone who understands AP fundamentals but is ready for work that involves <strong>more analysis, ownership, and follow-through<\/strong>. You will train onsite and may transition to a hybrid schedule once you are comfortable with the responsibilities and systems.<\/p>\n<p>As the AP Operations Analyst, you will assist with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining accurate vendor records and processing updates<\/li>\n<li>Preparing recurring AP and operational reports<\/li>\n<li>Researching invoice, payment, and account discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Comparing invoices with vendor statements and resolving differences<\/li>\n<li>Supporting corporate credit card activity and reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Researching outstanding checks, credits, and related account activity<\/li>\n<li>Organizing financial data and producing clear reporting in Excel<\/li>\n<li>Documenting procedures and supporting special projects<\/li>\n<li>Communicating with vendors and internal teams to resolve questions<\/li>\n<li>Providing additional AP and accounting support as priorities shift<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a <strong>quiet, focused team<\/strong> that values someone who can work independently, stay flexible, and take ownership of the details. The right person will be <strong>adaptable, low-ego, respectful of established processes<\/strong>, and comfortable learning how the team operates.<\/p>\n<p>To be considered for this AP Operations Analyst opportunity, you should have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting operations experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong intermediate Excel skills, including lookups, PivotTables, and formulas<\/li>\n<li>An analytical mindset with the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication<\/li>\n<li>A highly accurate, organized, and dependable approach to work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ready for an AP role with more variety, analysis, and project work?
