This role was designed to support an expanding workforce by taking ownership of the day-to-day administration of the company&#8217;s benefits programs and serving as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries. This is an excellent opportunity for a benefits-focused professional who enjoys employee interaction, thrives on accuracy and compliance, and wants exposure to senior leadership in a fast-paced, professional services environment.<\/p>\n<p>This position is largely <strong>remote<\/strong>, with in-person days in the Philadelphia office. Compensation includes a <strong>base salary of $80,000-$90,000 annually. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Job<\/strong><br \/> * Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and leadership regarding health, welfare, retirement, and leave-related benefit programs<br \/> * Manage the day-to-day administration of employee benefits, ensuring accurate and timely processing of enrollments, qualifying life events, terminations, and COBRA activities<br \/> * Support annual Open Enrollment by coordinating employee communications, system updates, and enrollment activities<br \/> * Review and maintain benefits data within Paylocity, ensuring accuracy across employee records, payroll deductions, and vendor integrations<br \/> * Audit benefit files, eligibility reports, and vendor feeds to identify and resolve discrepancies<br \/> * Review and process benefits-related invoices, funding requests, and reconciliations<br \/> * Partner with Payroll and vendors to ensure accurate benefit deductions and funding activities<br \/> * Coordinate leave of absence and accommodation processes in partnership with third-party administrators<br \/> * Conduct benefits orientations for new hires and provide ongoing employee education regarding available benefit programs<br \/> * Draft and distribute employee communications related to benefits, open enrollment, policy changes, and compliance requirements<br \/> * Assist with annual compliance initiatives, including regulatory notices, reporting requirements, and benefits documentation<br \/> * Maintain benefits policies, guides, and internal resources to ensure employees have access to current information<br \/> * Collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and senior leadership to deliver a seamless employee benefits experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>About You<\/strong><br \/> * <strong>2-3+ years of dedicated benefits administration experience<\/strong> OR 5+ years of HR experience with <strong>significant hands-on responsibility for employee benefits<\/strong><br \/> * Proven experience supporting employee health, welfare, retirement, leave, and ancillary benefit programs<br \/> * Strong understanding of benefits administration, enrollment processes, qualifying life events, open enrollment, and vendor management<br \/> * Experience serving as a resource for employees on complex benefits questions and sensitive life events<br \/> * Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume administrative processes with accuracy<br \/> * Advanced Excel and\/or Google Sheets skills, including experience working with large datasets, reconciliations, and reporting<br \/> * Experience with HRIS platforms; Paylocity experience strongly preferred<br \/> * Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills<br \/> * Ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels, including executives and C-suite leadership<br \/> * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities<br \/> * Professional services, consulting, or corporate environment experience preferred<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please Note: This is a true Benefits Specialist position.
