Possibility of permanent conversion<strong><br \/> Pay: Competitive: <\/strong>$57-62\/hour, based on experience<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/> <\/strong>We are working with a technology company that is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to support a growing accounting team with revenue accounting operations and month-end close activities.<\/p>\n<p>This position will focus on revenue recognition, deferred revenue accounting, reconciliations, and revenue-related reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong ASC 606 knowledge, hands-on NetSuite experience, and the ability to quickly learn and navigate existing accounting processes in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Central or Eastern time zones. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST.<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end revenue close activities<\/li>\n<li>Review and maintain deferred revenue schedules and reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Apply ASC 606 guidance to revenue transactions and contract reviews<\/li>\n<li>Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Conduct flux analysis and prepare supporting schedules<\/li>\n<li>Assist with revenue-related reporting and audit requests<\/li>\n<li>Review customer contracts and validate revenue recognition treatment<\/li>\n<li>Support SEC disclosure schedules and close-related activities as needed<\/li>\n<li>Work within NetSuite to process and manage revenue accounting transactions<\/li>\n<li>Assist with documentation of accounting procedures and process improvements<\/li>\n<li>Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate revenue reporting<\/li>\n<li>Perform ad-hoc accounting projects and other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4+ years of accounting experience with significant revenue accounting exposure<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in accounting or finance<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles <\/li>\n<li>NetSuite ARM (Advanced Revenue Management) experience preferred<\/li>\n<li>SaaS or software industry experience preferred<\/li>\n<li>CPA or public company accounting experience.
