This position will play an important role in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, general ledger accounting, financial reporting support, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate has experience working in a structured accounting environment with established internal controls, detailed reporting requirements, and firm deadlines.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, reclassifications, and adjustments.<\/li>\n<li>Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain schedules for prepaids, fixed assets, accruals, and other general ledger accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with inventory accounting, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Support revenue accounting activities for subsidiary entities.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare financial analyses and investigate account fluctuations and variances.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accounting documentation in accordance with established internal control procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with SOX-related testing, control documentation, and remediation support.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare schedules and supporting documentation used in SEC reporting activities.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with quarterly and annual external reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare audit-ready workpapers and respond to internal and external audit requests.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to meet close and reporting deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with process improvements, special projects, and additional accounting needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Required Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and fixed asset schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting financial statement preparation and external reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with SOX controls, control documentation, or compliance-related accounting procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Experience preparing audit schedules and supporting internal or external audit requests.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet firm reporting deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Public accounting or corporate accounting experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting SEC reporting or other regulated financial reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to quarterly and annual reporting processes.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with revenue recognition, inventory accounting, or subsidiary accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in a complex, multi-entity accounting environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/ZmluYW5jZWRjLjU4NDIwLjEyNTg0QGJlYWNvbmhpbGwuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">F5390821-AP_1787350758<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><a id=\"otherId\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/F5390821-AP_1787350758\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":3770,"template":"","meta":{"_relevanssi_hide_post":"","_relevanssi_hide_content":"","_relevanssi_pin_for_all":"","_relevanssi_pin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_unpin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_include_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_exclude_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_no_append":"","_relevanssi_related_not_related":"","_relevanssi_related_posts":"","_relevanssi_noindex_reason":"","inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"McLean, Virginia","_application":"financedc.58420.12584@beaconhill.aplitrak.com","_company_name":"Beacon Hill Staffing Group","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[201,203],"job-types":[2],"class_list":["post-131451","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","job-type-full-time"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.3 -
