Our client in the Irving, TX area is seeking an Accounting Analyst<\/strong> for a remote temporary assignment<\/strong> supporting a medical leave.<\/p>\n

\n

This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can quickly step in and contribute across accounting operations, financial analysis, reporting, and client billing with minimal ramp-up time.<\/p>\n

\n

Responsibilities<\/em><\/p>\n

* Support month-end close activities and maintain general ledger accuracy<\/p>\n

* Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies<\/p>\n

* Analyze actual versus budgeted and forecasted results, identifying key drivers of variances<\/p>\n

* Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities<\/p>\n

* Manage client invoicing and billing processes while ensuring compliance with contract requirements<\/p>\n

* Monitor billing schedules and recurring deadlines to ensure timely invoicing<\/p>\n

* Assist with audit support and accounting documentation needs<\/p>\n

* Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business operations<\/p>\n

\n

Qualifications<\/em><\/p>\n

* 3-5 years of accounting, financial analysis, or financial operations experience<\/p>\n

* Required NetSuite experience<\/p>\n

* Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs<\/p>\n

* Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close<\/p>\n

* Strong background in financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting<\/p>\n

* Hands-on invoicing and client billing experience<\/p>\n

* Understanding of contract-based billing requirements and deadlines<\/p>\n

* Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities<\/p>\n

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial results to management and leadership<\/p>\n

* Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment<\/p>\n
