This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge generative AI initiatives involving large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, vector databases, and cloud-native AI deployments.<\/p>\n<h3>What You&#8217;ll Do<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI-powered backend systems and services.<\/li>\n<li>Build and optimize RAG pipelines and prompt-engineering workflows.<\/li>\n<li>Develop asynchronous backend services and REST APIs using modern Python frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Design and manage vector database infrastructure to support semantic search and AI applications.<\/li>\n<li>Create document-processing pipelines capable of extracting information from PDFs, images, tables, and other unstructured data sources.<\/li>\n<li>Build AI agent and tool-calling workflows for engineering and business use cases.<\/li>\n<li>Support intelligent knowledge-management solutions and automated content generation initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, systems, and validation teams.<\/li>\n<li>Implement AI governance, monitoring, reliability controls, and cost optimization strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Document solution architecture, APIs, and AI workflows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Required Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of software engineering, backend engineering, machine learning engineering, or related experience.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications in production environments.<\/li>\n<li>2+ years of experience developing RAG pipelines, LLM-based applications, or AI agent solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Python development experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Google Gemini, Vertex AI, LangChain, and LangSmith.<\/li>\n<li>Experience building backend APIs and integrating AI services into enterprise applications.<\/li>\n<li>Experience processing unstructured data, including PDFs, technical documentation, and image-based content.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with vector databases and retrieval systems.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Preferred Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience developing FastAPI or Flask-based services.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with AI deployment platforms such as Cloud Run, Kubernetes, or Docker.<\/li>\n<li>Experience integrating multiple LLM providers including OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or AWS Bedrock.<\/li>\n<li>Front-end integration experience using React, Next.js, Streamlit, or Gradio.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, medical device, or other compliance-heavy environments.<\/li>\n<li>AI\/ML certifications are a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Technical Skills<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Python<\/li>\n<li>Google Gemini<\/li>\n<li>Vertex AI<\/li>\n<li>LangChain<\/li>\n<li>LangSmith<\/li>\n<li>Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)<\/li>\n<li>AI Agents \/ Tool Calling<\/li>\n<li>Vector Databases<\/li>\n<li>FastAPI<\/li>\n<li>REST APIs<\/li>\n<li>Docker<\/li>\n<li>Kubernetes<\/li>\n<li>Cloud-Native Architecture<\/li>\n<li>Prompt Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Unstructured Data Processing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Ideal Candidate<\/h3>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for someone who combines strong backend engineering fundamentals with modern AI\/LLM development experience.
