This role will focus on creating innovative, manufacturable designs while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the product development process. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in plastic and injection molded part design, automation equipment, and mechanical product development.<\/p>\n<h4>Key Responsibilities<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Design sheet metal, plastic, and machined components and assemblies for automated systems and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Develop detailed 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentation using CAD tools.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze, test, and refine designs to ensure performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost objectives are achieved.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop new products and systems.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with manufacturing, technicians, suppliers, and engineering teams to support prototype development and production readiness.<\/li>\n<li>Support design reviews, engineering changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain technical documentation for sourcing, inspection, manufacturing, and internal engineering use.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot design issues and implement effective engineering solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Required Qualifications<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>7+ years of mechanical design engineering experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience designing plastic and injection molded components.<\/li>\n<li>Experience developing mechanical assemblies and components for automated equipment or machinery.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Preferred Qualifications<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with robotics and automation systems.<\/li>\n<li>Background working in highly regulated or advanced manufacturing environments.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with design analysis and product testing methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Experience using Minitab or similar statistical analysis tools.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, sheet metal fabrication, and plastics manufacturing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Key Technical Skills<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Mechanical Design<\/li>\n<li>Injection Molding<\/li>\n<li>Plastics Design<\/li>\n<li>SolidWorks<\/li>\n<li>Automation Equipment<\/li>\n<li>Robotics<\/li>\n<li>Design for Manufacturability (DFM)<\/li>\n<li>Product Development<\/li>\n<li>Prototyping<\/li>\n<li>Mechanical Assemblies<\/li>\n<li>Root Cause Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Engineering Documentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This role is ideal for a hands-on mechanical engineer who enjoys designing innovative products, solving complex engineering challenges, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to bring concepts from design through production.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/dGVjaHJkdS41MDMyMi4xMjU4NEBiZWFjb25oaWxsLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">1466297_1787782593<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><a id=\"otherId\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/1466297_1787782593\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":3770,"template":"","meta":{"_relevanssi_hide_post":"","_relevanssi_hide_content":"","_relevanssi_pin_for_all":"","_relevanssi_pin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_unpin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_include_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_exclude_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_no_append":"","_relevanssi_related_not_related":"","_relevanssi_related_posts":"","_relevanssi_noindex_reason":"","inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Durham, North Carolina","_application":"techrdu.50322.12584@beaconhill.aplitrak.com","_company_name":"Beacon Hill Staffing Group","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[537,187],"job-types":[2],"class_list":["post-131715","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","job-type-full-time"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.3 -
