This role will focus on reviewing, remediating, and maintaining research-related documents to ensure compliance with accessibility standards, while also providing operational and administrative support across research programs.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is process-driven, self-sufficient, and comfortable managing documentation-heavy projects. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to important accessibility initiatives while supporting broader research operations, including purchasing, budgeting, record management, and departmental workflows.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<h3>Accessibility &amp; Documentation Management<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Review electronic documents and research materials for accessibility compliance and usability.<\/li>\n<li>Remediate documents created in Microsoft Office applications, PDFs, and other electronic formats to improve accessibility.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate document structure, headings, tables, hyperlinks, forms, alternative text, reading order, and color contrast.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize accessibility review tools and manual testing methods to identify and resolve compliance issues.<\/li>\n<li>Develop priorities and remediation plans for accessibility-related projects and document backlogs.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with faculty, research staff, and administrative teams to obtain source materials and implement accessibility improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain templates, procedures, workflows, and best practices that support ongoing accessibility compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain records of accessibility reviews, remediation efforts, and completed projects.<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance and recommendations regarding accessible document development and formatting standards.<\/li>\n<li>Support quality assurance efforts to ensure materials meet established accessibility expectations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Research Operations &amp; Administrative Support<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide administrative support for clinical research and departmental operations.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with document management, recordkeeping, reporting, scheduling, and data entry activities.<\/li>\n<li>Support purchasing and procurement activities, including preparation and processing of required documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with accounts payable processes, invoice tracking, documentation review, and follow-up activities.<\/li>\n<li>Help monitor departmental expenditures and budget-related information.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain organized and accurate administrative and financial records.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders to resolve routine operational and administrative issues.<\/li>\n<li>Support website content coordination and maintenance activities.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in operational improvement initiatives and workflow development projects.<\/li>\n<li>Provide additional research administration support as departmental needs evolve.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<h3>Required Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree preferred;
