This successful defense law firm offers excellent benefits and competitive salary.<\/p>\n<p>To be considered, legal assistant should have at least six years of experience as a legal assistant in a full-service or defense law firm, e-filing with state and federal courts, and experience assisting with trial preparation.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining and organizing files<\/li>\n<li>Drafting, formatting, editing and proofreading legal memos and correspondence, pleadings and discovery<\/li>\n<li>E-filing with state and federal courts<\/li>\n<li>Managing attorney calendars and scheduling meetings, conference calls and travel<\/li>\n<li>Communicating with clients, court officials, vendors and others involved in the cases<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with billing, time entry, expenses, and accounts receivable<\/li>\n<li>Entering attorney time<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with special projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Benefits include generous PTO, medical\/dental\/vision, annual profit-sharing contribution, annual bonus, paid parking and more.
