We are partnering with a growing company in the Portland market that needs an experienced accountant for a <strong>temporary, ongoing engagement<\/strong>. This is an opportunity to step into meaningful work, take ownership of an<strong> important reconciliation project<\/strong>, and partner directly with a supportive, down-to-earth accounting leader.<\/p>\n<p>As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performing <strong>detailed account reconciliations<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Matching transactions and researching discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Identifying missing entries, reversals, and reconciling items<\/li>\n<li>Using <strong>Excel<\/strong> to organize and analyze accounting data<\/li>\n<li>Researching current and historical transaction activity<\/li>\n<li>Communicating with accounting contacts to resolve outstanding issues<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with additional accounting projects as needed<\/li>\n<li>This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, self-directed, and comfortable staying hands-on with reconciliation-heavy work. You will have the autonomy to manage the day-to-day project while partnering with an approachable manager who values clear communication and gives people room to get the job done.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To be considered for this Senior Accountant opportunity, you will need:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>3+ years of hands-on general accounting experience<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of transaction flow and account reconciliations<\/li>\n<li><strong>Intermediate Excel skills<\/strong>, including pivot tables, filtering, and sorting<\/li>\n<li>Ability to independently research and resolve accounting discrepancies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ready to put your accounting experience to work and make an immediate impact?<strong> Apply today<\/strong>.
