This role will oversee the monthly close process, financial reporting, general ledger management, GAAP compliance, and inventory accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation, experience in a manufacturing environment with inventory oversight, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced private equity-backed organization focused on operational excellence and growth.<\/p>\n<p>The Accounting Manager will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial information, strengthening internal controls, supporting business decision-making, and driving process improvements across the accounting function.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations to senior leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with board, lender, and private equity investor reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure financial reporting deadlines are consistently met.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee all general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end accruals.<\/li>\n<li>Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain chart of accounts and ensure proper account classifications.<\/li>\n<li>Improve accounting processes, controls, and workflow efficiencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.<\/li>\n<li>Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Research and document technical accounting matters as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Inventory &amp; Manufacturing Accounting<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage inventory accounting processes, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and reserves.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee inventory reconciliations and cycle count procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with operations and supply chain teams to ensure inventory accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze inventory trends, variances, scrap, and production costs.<\/li>\n<li>Support physical inventory counts and inventory-related audits.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper accounting treatment of manufacturing costs and inventory transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Team Leadership<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise and mentor accounting staff.<\/li>\n<li>Review work completed by team members and provide coaching and development.<\/li>\n<li>Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in building scalable accounting processes to support company growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Operational &amp;
