This role will assist with employee onboarding, HR records management, recruiting coordination, benefits administration, and compliance-related activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, maintains confidentiality, and enjoys supporting employees in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, orientations, background checks, and employee setup.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data to ensure accuracy and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.<\/li>\n<li>Support employee status changes, onboarding, offboarding, and other personnel transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, leaves of absence, policies, and HR procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with benefits enrollment, open enrollment activities, and employee documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare employment verifications, reports, correspondence, and other HR-related documents.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as organizational policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Audit HR records and employee data for accuracy and completeness.<\/li>\n<li>Support payroll administration by tracking employee changes and submitting required documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive HR records.<\/li>\n<li>Provide general administrative support to the HR department and assist with special projects as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>1+ years of Human Resources, Recruiting, Administrative, or related experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting onboarding, employee records, or recruiting activities preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
