We&#8217;d love to hear from you!<\/strong> Our client, a well-established and growing company in the Raleigh area, is seeking an <strong class=\"___1qwroh2 fl43uef f19n0e5\" data-lexical-text=\"true\">Accounts Receivable Specialist (Cash Applications)<\/strong> to join their accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with high-volume transactions, solving payment discrepancies, and ensuring accurate cash posting and account reconciliation. As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing cash receipts, applying customer payments, researching discrepancies, and supporting the overall accounts receivable function. Responsibilities As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"___14cu5j8 fdgang7 f1hu3pq6 f19f4twv fuxrj8o\">\n<li value=\"1\">Applying customer payments accurately and timely to customer accounts<\/li>\n<li value=\"2\">Processing cash receipts from various payment methods, including ACH, wire transfers, lockbox, and checks<\/li>\n<li value=\"3\">Researching and resolving unapplied cash, short payments, overpayments, and other account discrepancies<\/li>\n<li value=\"4\">Reconciling daily cash activity and ensuring all payments are properly recorded<\/li>\n<li value=\"5\">Partnering with customers, collections teams, and internal departments to resolve payment issues<\/li>\n<li value=\"6\">Maintaining accurate customer account records and supporting account reconciliation efforts<\/li>\n<li value=\"7\">Preparing and reviewing aging reports, cash application reports, and related documentation<\/li>\n<li value=\"8\">Assisting with month-end close processes related to accounts receivable and cash activity<\/li>\n<li value=\"9\">Supporting audits by providing requested documentation and payment records<\/li>\n<li value=\"10\">Identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the cash applications function<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates should have:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"___14cu5j8 fdgang7 f1hu3pq6 f19f4twv fuxrj8o\">\n<li value=\"1\">Associate&#8217;s or Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred<\/li>\n<li value=\"2\">2+ years of accounts receivable, cash applications, or related accounting experience<\/li>\n<li value=\"3\">Experience processing high-volume cash receipts and payment posting activities<\/li>\n<li value=\"4\">Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and reconciliation procedures<\/li>\n<li value=\"5\">Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas<\/li>\n<li value=\"6\">Experience working within ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms<\/li>\n<li value=\"7\">Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy<\/li>\n<li value=\"8\">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li value=\"9\">Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li value=\"10\">Strong communication and customer service skills when working with both internal and external stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Why Apply?
