Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Temporary Conflicts Staff Attorney<\/strong> to support a leading national law firm on an immediate basis. This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity expected to last approximately 3-6 months, with potential to convert to a permanent position.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ideal candidate will have a JD and substantive experience conducting conflicts analysis within a law firm environment. Large law firm experience is strongly preferred.<\/p>\n

While the position is fully remote, candidates must reside within reasonable commuting distance of the firm’s Washington office location.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Schedule:<\/strong> 40 hours\/week<\/p>\n

Duration:<\/strong> Approximately 3-6 months, with the potential to convert<\/p>\n

Location:<\/strong> Fully remote, with candidates residing within reasonable commuting distance to the firm’s Washington office (98101)<\/p>\n

Pay: <\/strong>$70.26-$79.49\/hour, depending on experience<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

* Conduct and analyze conflicts searches for prospective clients, new matters, existing clients, lateral attorneys, and other firm initiatives<\/p>\n

* Review conflicts reports and identify potential legal and business conflicts<\/p>\n

* Research and analyze complex conflict-of-interest issues<\/p>\n

* Work directly with attorneys and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve potential conflicts<\/p>\n

* Assist with the preparation and review of conflict waivers<\/p>\n

* Support new business intake and lateral attorney intake processes<\/p>\n

* Conduct special conflicts searches involving prior relationships, lateral hires, potential mergers, and other firm matters<\/p>\n

* Apply applicable Rules of Professional Conduct when evaluating potential conflicts<\/p>\n

* Assist with conflicts-related training and special projects<\/p>\n

* Provide conflicts coverage and support as needed<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

* JD required<\/p>\n

* Prior substantive conflicts analysis experience within a law firm required<\/p>\n

* 3+ years of attorney-level conflicts experience strongly preferred<\/p>\n

* Large law firm experience strongly preferred<\/p>\n

* Strong understanding of conflicts of interest and applicable Rules of Professional Conduct<\/p>\n

* Experience reviewing and analyzing conflicts searches and working through potential resolutions<\/p>\n

* Experience with conflict waivers, new business intake and\/or lateral attorney intake preferred<\/p>\n

* Experience with Intapp Open or a similar conflicts\/intake platform preferred<\/p>\n

* Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills<\/p>\n

* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities<\/p>\n

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
