The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting discovery stage programs with a particular <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">focus on targeted protein degradation and next generation biologic therapeutics.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in mass spec-based bioanalysis, protein and peptide characterization, and analytical assay development.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This is a cross-functional role with significant impact on the research and development pipeline.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Key Responsibilities:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the development, optimization, and fit for purpose validation of LC-MS\/MS assays and IP (hybrid ligand binding) assay for quantification of biomarkers, proteins, peptides, cytokines, and metabolites<\/li>\n<li>Design and execute workflows for peptide mapping, post-translational modification (PTM) analysis, disulfide bond mapping, and glycosylation analysis<\/li>\n<li>Develop fit-for-purpose bioanalytical methods for proteins with complex attributes (e.g., high MW, high glycosylation, unexpected MWs) using advanced enzymatic digestion strategies<\/li>\n<li>Determine and communicate goals, timelines, and priorities for bioanalysis in cross-functional project teams<\/li>\n<li>Conduct advanced data processing and statistical analysis using multiple software from different vendors<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation<\/li>\n<li>Maintain technical reports, SOP, and an electronic notebook<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Required Qualifications:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 5+ years of experience in <strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">mass spectrometry bioanalytical sciences<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience with mass spectrometry analysis of proteins and peptides (Sciex QTRAP, Sciex Q-TOF, Thermo Orbitrap Fusion\/Lumos, QQQ with MRM method)<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated expertise in bioanalytical method development and validation of large molecule analytes<\/li>\n<li>Experience performing intact and subunit protein mass spectrometry analysis, including characterization of monoclonal antibodies, fusion proteins<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with a range of chromatography techniques RP-HPLC, SEC, HILIC, nanoLC, microLC)<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in wet lab sample preparation techniques (SPE, IP, LLE)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain and troubleshoot mass spec instrumentation in close collaboration with vendors to ensure optimal system performance and uptime<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Ability to balance multitasks with competing priorities<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Work Environment:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Laboratory-based position (based in Cambridge)<\/li>\n<li>Fast paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration with cross-functional R&amp;D and bioanalytical teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Preferred Qualifications:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with computational biology, bioinformatics<\/li>\n<li>Experience with biochemical, biophysical, biology assays such as SPR, TR-FRET, ELISA, MSD<\/li>\n<li>Experience executing method development, validation, and assay transfer at CROs and external partners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"
