Our client, a respected law firm in Highland Park, is seeking a polished and detail-oriented Temporary Receptionist to serve as the face of the office and provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.<\/p>\n<p>This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with clients, managing a busy front desk, and ensuring daily office operations run smoothly.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Greet clients, visitors, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy<\/li>\n<li>Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls<\/li>\n<li>Manage conference room scheduling, meeting setup, and cleanup<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate Zoom meetings and assist with conference room technology<\/li>\n<li>Receive, sort, scan, and distribute incoming mail, deliveries, and legal documents<\/li>\n<li>Process outgoing mail, courier requests, and FedEx shipments<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and manage shared office email communications<\/li>\n<li>Order and maintain office supplies and ensure common areas remain organized and presentable<\/li>\n<li>Support attorneys, legal assistants, paralegals, and administrative staff with overflow projects<\/li>\n<li>Assist with document preparation, scanning, filing, photocopying, and records management<\/li>\n<li>Process payments, expense requests, and other administrative transactions as needed<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate meal orders for meetings and firm events<\/li>\n<li>Assist visiting attorneys and provide general office support<\/li>\n<li>Handle special projects and perform additional administrative duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior experience working as a receptionist in a law firm<\/li>\n<li>Professional, polished, and client-service-oriented demeanor<\/li>\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and multitasking skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing demands<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, and highly organized, with the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced legal environment.
