This includes drafting and maintaining legal documentation, monitoring regulatory developments, delivering training, and supporting litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations.<\/p>\n<p>The Counsel will lead complex legal and risk initiatives, influence senior leaders and external stakeholders, strengthen governance, and provide strategic direction &#8211; while mentoring colleagues and promoting high performance across the team.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font-semibold\" data-streamdown=\"strong\">Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-inside list-disc whitespace-normal [li_&amp;]:pl-6\" data-streamdown=\"unordered-list\">\n<li class=\"py-1 [&amp;&gt;p]:inline\" data-streamdown=\"list-item\">Advise the Markets division on equities products, services, and transactions<\/li>\n<li class=\"py-1 [&amp;&gt;p]:inline\" data-streamdown=\"list-item\">Develop legal strategies and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and internal policies, standards, and controls<\/li>\n<li class=\"py-1 [&amp;&gt;p]:inline\" data-streamdown=\"list-item\">Draft, negotiate, and maintain legal documentation<\/li>\n<li class=\"py-1 [&amp;&gt;p]:inline\" data-streamdown=\"list-item\">Monitor regulatory developments and assess business impact<\/li>\n<li class=\"py-1 [&amp;&gt;p]:inline\" data-streamdown=\"list-item\">Deliver training to business and legal colleagues<\/li>\n<li class=\"py-1 [&amp;&gt;p]:inline\" data-streamdown=\"list-item\">Support litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations<\/li>\n<li class=\"py-1 [&amp;&gt;p]:inline\" data-streamdown=\"list-item\">Lead complex legal and risk initiatives;
