This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and improving accounting processes across multiple functional areas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 16.0pt;\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed; margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in;\" type=\"disc\">\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 10.5pt;\">Prepare and reconcile journal entries related to payroll, benefits, accounts payable, and other general ledger activity.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 10.5pt;\">Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 10.5pt;\">Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and variance analysis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 10.5pt;\">Review payroll accounting activity, including payroll allocations, benefits reconciliations, and related compliance requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 10.5pt;\">Monitor and review payroll processing for accuracy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 10.5pt;\">Assist with accounts payable processes, vendor reconciliations, and expense reporting.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 10.5pt;\">Reconcile employee benefit plans, retirement contributions, and related liability accounts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 10.5pt;\">Support audits and provide documentation related to payroll, benefits, and general accounting activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 10.5pt;\">Partner with HR and Finance leadership to improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and reporting.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 16.0pt;\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 16.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Qualifications<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed; margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in;\" type=\"disc\">\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 10.5pt;\">3+ years of accounting experience, including payroll accounting and general ledger reconciliations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 10.5pt;\">Strong understanding of payroll taxes, payroll compliance, and employee benefits accounting.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 10.5pt;\">Experience with accounts payable, month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Segoe UI'; font-size: 10.5pt;\">Nonprofit and grant-funded accounting experience preferred.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 0;
