This role will be responsible for managing the financial reporting and accounting activities for a portfolio of commercial real estate assets while partnering closely with operations, property management, and executive leadership.<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their exposure to complex real estate transactions, financial reporting, budgeting, lease accounting, and portfolio analysis within a stable and growth-oriented environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage quarterly close processes and prepare supporting schedules for financial reporting and audits.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and analyze GAAP financial statements and related reporting packages.<\/li>\n<li>Review revenue, expenses, and operating results, providing variance analysis and business insights.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee lease-related accounting, tenant billings, reconciliations, and expense recoveries.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze real estate tax and operating expense escalations and annual true-ups.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare lender and third-party reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with property management teams on annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile balance sheet accounts and support external and client audits.<\/li>\n<li>Review lease agreements, joint venture documents, and financing agreements to ensure proper accounting treatment.<\/li>\n<li>Support depreciation accounting and complex real estate transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within commercial real estate, property accounting, or a related industry.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with ERP\/accounting systems;
