This is a hands-on contract opportunity that will play a key role in maintaining day-to-day accounting operations, overseeing month-end close activities, supporting staff development, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.<\/p>\n<div>\n<h2>Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete complex general ledger account reconciliations and investigate unusual or outstanding items<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly closing journal entries and ad hoc accounting entries as needed<\/li>\n<li>Review staff journal entries and account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness<\/li>\n<li>Partner with senior finance leadership on annual audit activities and audit support<\/li>\n<li>Assist in overseeing daily accounting department operations<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accounting policies and procedures are consistently followed<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheet and income statement variance analysis<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies<\/li>\n<li>Lead projects related to accounting operations, banking, accounts payable, and process improvements<\/li>\n<li>Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff<\/li>\n<li>Support ERP-related initiatives and process enhancements<\/li>\n<li>Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of progressive accounting experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial statement preparation<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Accounting experience within manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-based environments<\/li>\n<li>CPA and\/or MBA preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience in public accounting, private equity-backed organizations, or complex corporate accounting environments<\/li>\n<li>Experience with acquisitions, consolidations, and intercompany transactions<\/li>\n<li>Background working within multi-entity accounting structures<\/li>\n<li>ERP implementation, conversion, or system integration experience<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to cloud-based ERP platforms is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Strong tax accounting experience preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/ZmluYW5jZXBoaWNjLjY1ODgzLjEyNTg0QGJlYWNvbmhpbGwuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">0000002FICCKD_1791838484<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><a id=\"otherId\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com\/jobs\/job\/0000002FICCKD_1791838484\">To Apply for this Job Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":3770,"template":"","meta":{"_relevanssi_hide_post":"","_relevanssi_hide_content":"","_relevanssi_pin_for_all":"","_relevanssi_pin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_unpin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_include_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_exclude_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_no_append":"","_relevanssi_related_not_related":"","_relevanssi_related_posts":"","_relevanssi_noindex_reason":"","inline_featured_image":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Woolwich, New Jersey","_application":"financephicc.65883.12584@beaconhill.aplitrak.com","_company_name":"Beacon Hill Staffing Group","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[201,202],"job-types":[2],"class_list":["post-134344","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","job-type-full-time"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.6 -
