This position is ideal for an attorney who can independently manage matters from inception through resolution while helping supervise and develop junior attorneys. The position title can be a senior associate, counsel, or junior partner depending on level of experience. <\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Independently manage a docket of civil litigation matters from initial assessment through resolution.<\/li>\n<li>Take and defend depositions, manage written discovery, draft and argue motions, and appear in court.<\/li>\n<li>Develop case strategy, communicate with clients, and oversee deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and mentor junior associates and delegate work effectively.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>At least seven (7+) years of substantive litigation experience.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to handle cases independently<\/li>\n<li>Meaningful deposition and courtroom experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong judgment, organization, written advocacy, and client-service skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supervising or mentoring less-experienced attorneys.<\/li>\n<li>Admission and good standing to the Illinois state bar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3> <\/h3>\n<h3>Billable Hours<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Annual billable-hour expectation of 1,800 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Compensation &amp;
