One of our clients in <strong>Kent, WA<\/strong> is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support their accounting team during a busy period. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative environment where your attention to detail, ability to manage priorities, and commitment to accuracy will make an immediate impact.<\/p>\n<h3>In this position, you will:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently<\/li>\n<li>Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation<\/li>\n<li>Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries<\/li>\n<li>Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile vendor statements and maintain vendor records<\/li>\n<li>Assist with month-end close activities, including AP accruals and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues<\/li>\n<li>Support additional accounting and finance projects as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of accounts payable experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience processing invoices in a high-volume environment<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of invoice matching and payment processing<\/li>\n<li>Experience researching and resolving discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with Excel and ERP\/accounting systems<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you&#8217;re ready to jump into a busy AP role and make an immediate impact, we&#8217;d love to hear from you.
