One of our long-standing Bellevue-area clients is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an opportunity to step into a key role, partner with leadership, and support critical accounting functions within a collaborative and professional environment.<\/p>\n<p>If you enjoy owning the details, solving problems, and helping drive the close process, we&#8217;d love to connect with you.<\/p>\n<p>What you&#8217;ll be doing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account analyses<\/li>\n<li>Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances<\/li>\n<li>Lead and support month-end close activities<\/li>\n<li>Assist with financial reporting and supporting schedules<\/li>\n<li>Research accounting issues and resolve discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Analyze financial data and identify process improvement opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Support audit requests and ensure documentation is complete and accurate<\/li>\n<li>Utilize Excel and ERP systems to manage and maintain financial records<\/li>\n<li>Partner with cross-functional teams on special projects and ad hoc reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You&#8217;ll join a team that values collaboration, communication, and accountability. The manager provides support when needed but trusts team members to work independently and take ownership of their responsibilities. This role offers a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote.<\/p>\n<p>What we&#8217;re looking for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field<\/li>\n<li>4+ years of progressive accounting experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices<\/li>\n<li>Experience preparing financial reports and supporting audits<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate to advanced Excel skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience working within an ERP system<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you&#8217;re ready to jump into a hands-on accounting role and contribute right away, we&#8217;d love to hear from you.
