This role offers sophisticated work advising employers and supporting corporate transactions.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Advise on employee benefits and executive compensation matters arising in mergers, acquisitions, private equity, and other corporate transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Counsel clients on the design, operation, compliance, and correction of qualified retirement, health and welfare, and other benefit plans.<\/li>\n<li>Structure and advise on nonqualified deferred compensation, incentive, equity, severance, retention, change-in-control, and employment arrangements.<\/li>\n<li>Address matters involving ERISA and applicable tax requirements, including Internal Revenue Code Sections 409A and 280G.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>4+ years of relevant employee benefits and executive compensation experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of ERISA and related tax and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting sophisticated transactions and drafting related agreements and plan documents.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent judgment, communication, and organizational skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Compensation &amp; Benefits<\/h3>\n<p>The anticipated starting salary is $260,000, with final compensation based on experience &amp; qualifications.
