The position may be structured at the Senior Associate or Manager level, depending on the candidate&#8217;s experience.<\/p>\n<p>This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional compliance work and take greater ownership of client relationships, financial reporting, accounting operations, and business-focused advisory projects. You&#8217;ll work directly with privately held organizations and their leadership teams, helping them solve accounting challenges, improve processes, and strengthen their financial reporting.<\/p>\n<div>The role is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, solving complex accounting challenges, and partnering with businesses on a wide range of financial and operational needs.<\/div>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead or support accounting advisory engagements for privately held organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review financial statements, compilations, management reports, and other client deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Work directly with business owners and leadership teams to understand their accounting and financial reporting needs.<\/li>\n<li>Advise clients on month-end close, financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, bookkeeping oversight, and process improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with accounting cleanup projects, reporting challenges, and other financial or operational initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Manage multiple client engagements, priorities, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Build strong client relationships and serve as a reliable point of contact.<\/li>\n<li>Review work prepared by team members and provide technical guidance based on experience level.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and develop junior accounting professionals through training, feedback, and day-to-day support.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality engagement delivery and a positive client experience.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the continued development and growth of the accounting advisory practice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Approximately 4+ years of progressive accounting experience. Candidates will be considered at the <strong>Senior Associate or Manager level<\/strong> based on their background.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in public accounting, client accounting services, accounting advisory, outsourced accounting, or a similar professional services environment.<\/li>\n<li>Professionals from small and mid-sized public accounting firms are strongly encouraged to apply.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience preparing or reviewing financial statements and supporting compilations, reviews, month-end close, management reporting, or related client accounting engagements.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work directly with business owners and leadership teams and communicate accounting and financial information clearly.<\/li>\n<li>Experience balancing multiple client engagements, deadlines, and competing priorities.<\/li>\n<li>For Manager-level candidates, experience reviewing work, managing engagements, and mentoring or supervising team members is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>For Senior Associate-level candidates, demonstrated readiness to assume greater ownership of engagements and client relationships is important.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, accounting process improvement, financial cleanup projects, or special advisory initiatives is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>CPA license or progress toward certification is preferred but not required.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and commonly used accounting software.
