You&#8217;ll provide technical direction, own solution design and architecture, drive projects through execution, and lead a team of engineers.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<br \/>Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise applications and modernization initiatives.<br \/>Provide hands-on technical leadership across Java, APIs, microservices, AWS, and AI-enabled solutions.<br \/>Develop high-level and low-level solution designs and ensure successful technical implementation.<br \/>Lead and mentor a team of approximately 5-7 engineering resources.<br \/>Drive projects and larger technical initiatives from design through production delivery.<br \/>Partner with product, architecture, engineering, and business stakeholders.<br \/>Lead development of cloud applications using modern AWS architecture patterns.<br \/>Drive adoption of microservices, event-driven architecture, reusable services, and API-first design.<br \/>Oversee enterprise API and integration design, development, security, and governance.<br \/>Support adoption of AI-assisted development tools and AI-powered applications\/workflows.<br \/>Champion Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps, CI\/CD, quality engineering, and observability best practices.<br \/>Required Qualifications<br \/>10+ years of progressive software engineering\/application development experience.<br \/>5+ years of technical leadership and\/or engineering management experience.<br \/>Strong hands-on architecture and solution design experience.<br \/>Strong development background with Java and Spring Boot.<br \/>Extensive experience with REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.<br \/>Strong experience designing and implementing cloud solutions on AWS.<br \/>Experience with event-driven and distributed application architectures.<br \/>Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.<br \/>Ability to lead complex technical programs from architecture\/design through execution.<br \/>Experience leading distributed engineering teams.<br \/>Strong understanding of Agile delivery and modern software engineering practices.<br \/>Exposure to AI-assisted software development, AI agents, or intelligent workflow automation.<br \/>Preferred Qualifications<br \/>Previous experience within a highly regulated enterprise environment.<br \/>Experience with healthcare-related technology or platforms is a plus.<br \/>Experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Amazon Q, or similar technologies.<br \/>Why This Opportunity?<\/p>\n<p>Join a large enterprise technology organization investing in new software development, cloud modernization, APIs, microservices, and AI-enabled solutions.
