This Legal Assistant will join a wonderful team of attorneys whose work includes corporate transactional and finance matters.<\/p>\n<p>To be considered, the Corporate Legal Assistant will have at least four years of experience providing administrative support to attorneys in a transactional practice in a law firm. Candidates must have exceptional MS Word and Excel skills, excellent time management, proofreading and editing skills, be confident, professional and friendly in communication and enjoy interacting with clients and colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opening new matters and sending engagement letters<\/li>\n<li>Drafting legal documents, correspondence and memos; proofing, editing and formatting documents<\/li>\n<li>Filing documents with the Secretary of State<\/li>\n<li>Managing attorney emails<\/li>\n<li>Managing calendars of attorneys, scheduling meetings, travel and client development events<\/li>\n<li>Preparing monthly expense reports for reimbursement<\/li>\n<li>Entering attorney time into billing program<\/li>\n<li>Client interaction via phone, in person and email correspondence<\/li>\n<li>Handling other related legal administrative duties and assisting with special projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Benefits here are extraordinary and include generous PTO, medical, dental and vision plans, an annual profit-sharing contribution, 401(k), short- and long-term disability and much more.
