This individual will play a critical role in building, documenting, and validating manufacturing and test equipment while supporting engineering teams in a fast-paced production environment.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, experience with engineering documentation and change management, and strong <strong>SolidWorks<\/strong> proficiency for fixture design, tooling updates, and engineering drawing modifications.<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support mechanical and electrical testing of integrated systems and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Design, modify, and document fixtures and tooling using <strong>SolidWorks<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Create, process, and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).<\/li>\n<li>Develop, update, and maintain engineering drawings, schematics, and build documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Assemble, troubleshoot, and validate custom testers, fixtures, and electromechanical equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Support change management processes and ensure documentation is properly released and controlled.<\/li>\n<li>Operate laboratory and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.<\/li>\n<li>Assist engineers with testing, experimentation, and prototype development activities.<\/li>\n<li>Document build processes, best practices, and equipment configurations to support scalability and knowledge transfer.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to meet aggressive project schedules and production milestones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Top Technical Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience creating and processing <strong>Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience designing fixtures, tooling, or manufacturing equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Experience pushing documentation through formal <strong>change management systems<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Experience assembling and troubleshooting testers and electromechanical equipment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Proficiency with SolidWorks<\/strong> for fixture design, tooling updates, engineering drawings, and documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma, GED, or Technical School Certification.<\/li>\n<li>3-5+ years of hands-on technical experience in engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, or a rapid prototyping environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.<\/li>\n<li>Experience creating or maintaining assembly instructions, tooling documentation, or manufacturing procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team-oriented environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aerospace or defense industry experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting manufacturing, test, or production environments.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to prototype development, equipment replication, or facility expansion projects.<\/li>\n<li>Experience creating and maintaining controlled engineering documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Focus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The team is currently replicating approximately 90 pieces of manufacturing and test equipment while creating standardized schematics, tooling documentation, and engineering records.
