This individual will work closely with developers, product owners, and release teams to design, build, and maintain scalable automated testing solutions across web applications, APIs, messaging systems, and production environments.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate has a strong background in <strong>Java-based test automation<\/strong>, CI\/CD practices, API testing, and Agile software development, with experience supporting high-volume, customer-facing applications.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate in the development of user stories by defining testing strategies, identifying automation opportunities, and providing effort estimates.<\/li>\n<li>Design, document, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and execute automated and manual testing across:\n<ul>\n<li>Unit Testing<\/li>\n<li>Component Testing<\/li>\n<li>Integration Testing<\/li>\n<li>Acceptance Testing<\/li>\n<li>Load and Performance Testing<\/li>\n<li>Security Testing<\/li>\n<li>Scalability Testing<\/li>\n<li>Usability Testing<\/li>\n<li>Platform Testing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Build, enhance, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.<\/li>\n<li>Execute automated tests across multiple environments and CI\/CD pipelines.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and identify root causes.<\/li>\n<li>Partner closely with software developers to ensure applications are thoroughly tested and automation-ready.<\/li>\n<li>Perform code reviews to promote quality, consistency, and reusability of automation assets.<\/li>\n<li>Create detailed defect reports and validate fixes through regression and automated testing.<\/li>\n<li>Present test results and quality metrics to support production release approvals.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with QA, Development, Operations, NOC, and Release Management teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases, unexpected behaviors, and additional test coverage opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the ongoing improvement of QA automation frameworks, coding standards, and best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in Major Incident and Emergency Change reviews to identify opportunities for preventative automated testing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Required Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.<\/li>\n<li>7+ years of software quality assurance experience, preferably within Agile development environments.<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of hands-on Java development and automation experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience with test automation frameworks and tools including:\n<ul>\n<li>Selenium WebDriver<\/li>\n<li>Playwright<\/li>\n<li>Cucumber\/Gherkin<\/li>\n<li>Java<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Experience with API test automation using:\n<ul>\n<li>Spring Boot<\/li>\n<li>Rest Assured<\/li>\n<li>GraphQL<\/li>\n<li>Postman<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Experience testing messaging and event-driven architectures utilizing:\n<ul>\n<li>Kafka<\/li>\n<li>RabbitMQ<\/li>\n<li>ActiveMQ (AMQ)<\/li>\n<li>Other JMS-based messaging platforms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Experience with source control systems including Git.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with CI\/CD tools and processes, preferably Jenkins and Jenkins X.<\/li>\n<li>Experience creating SQL queries for test data preparation, validation, and troubleshooting.<\/li>\n<li>Experience using defect management tools such as JIRA.<\/li>\n<li>Strong manual testing and exploratory testing capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently in
