This role will contribute to the design, development, integration, and testing of embedded software solutions supporting vehicle electronics, mission systems, diagnostics, power management, displays, and software deployment environments.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have experience developing software in complex embedded environments, working with modern vehicle architectures, and collaborating across multidisciplinary engineering teams in an Agile development environment.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, configure, and validate software development environments used for software, documentation, and test artifact creation<\/li>\n<li>Develop software solutions across multiple vehicle domains including:\n<ul>\n<li>Board Support Packages (BSPs)<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle displays and HMIs<\/li>\n<li>Power management systems<\/li>\n<li>Lethality systems<\/li>\n<li>Software deployment platforms<\/li>\n<li>Embedded training systems<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle diagnostics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and refine software requirements<\/li>\n<li>Develop preliminary and detailed software designs in accordance with engineering standards<\/li>\n<li>Create software architectures that influence overall vehicle system design<\/li>\n<li>Develop, integrate, and maintain software applications and embedded code<\/li>\n<li>Create and execute unit, functional, and integration tests<\/li>\n<li>Perform hardware\/software integration activities<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and resolve software defects throughout the development lifecycle<\/li>\n<li>Integrate software releases across multiple Configuration Items (CSCIs)<\/li>\n<li>Provide project status updates to software and program leadership<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Project Management, Integration, and Software Quality teams<\/li>\n<li>Lead Agile Scrum activities including:\n<ul>\n<li>Daily standups<\/li>\n<li>PI Planning<\/li>\n<li>Sprint reviews and demonstrations<\/li>\n<li>Retrospectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Support continuous process improvement initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Required Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of professional software engineering experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience with one or more programming languages:\n<ul>\n<li>C<\/li>\n<li>C++<\/li>\n<li>C#<\/li>\n<li>Java<\/li>\n<li>Python<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Experience using source control and collaboration tools such as Git and Bitbucket<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in mixed operating system environments including:\n<ul>\n<li>Linux<\/li>\n<li>VxWorks<\/li>\n<li>RTOS platforms<\/li>\n<li>BSPs<\/li>\n<li>Virtualized environments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of networking and communication protocols including:\n<ul>\n<li>RS-232\/RS-422<\/li>\n<li>CAN Bus<\/li>\n<li>TCP\/IP<\/li>\n<li>UDP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Agile development practices and tools<\/li>\n<li><em>Must have Fire Control and embedded software experience <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications<\/h2>\n<h3>Vehicle Architecture &amp; Defense Standards<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>NGVA (NATO Ground Vehicle Architecture)<\/li>\n<li>UKGVA (UK Ground Vehicle Architecture)<\/li>\n<li>Ground combat vehicle network architectures<\/li>\n<li>GCIA (Ground Combat Systems Common Infrastructure Architecture)<\/li>\n<li>MOSA (Modular Open Systems Approach)<\/li>\n<li>SOSA (Sensor Open Systems Architecture)<\/li>\n<li>FACE (Future Airborne Capability Environment)<\/li>\n<li>Time Sensitive Networking (TSN)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Middleware &amp; Communication Systems<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>DDS (Data Distribution Service)<\/li>\n<li>Apache Kafka<\/li>\n<li>Publish\/Subscribe architectures<\/li>\n<li>Multicast networking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Embedded &amp; Platform Technologies<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Embedded Linux development<\/li>\n<li>Hypervisor technologies (Type 1 and Type 2)<\/li>\n<li>Containerization technologies including:\n<ul>\n<li>Docker<\/li>\n<li>Kubernetes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Internet of Things (IoT) concepts<\/li>\n<li>Software deployment and distributed systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Systems Engineering &amp;
