This is a fully remote assignment open to candidates located anywhere in the United States. The assignment is expected to continue through the end of the year with potential to extend.<\/div>\n<h3>Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Review, process, and distribute correspondence from the USPTO, foreign government agencies, and foreign associates in accordance with established procedures.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Maintain assigned trademark docket portfolios and ensure daily docket clearance and accurate filing logs.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Monitor and maintain domestic and international trademark deadlines and electronic docket calendars.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Ensure accurate and complete docketing of documents and deadlines received from the USPTO and other domestic and international sources.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Maintain accurate docket records and prepare reports as required.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Save client and legal documents in PATTSY and upload documents and images to the appropriate matter records.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Maintain electronic files through the firm&#8217;s IP management system and iManage integration.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Process abandoned and inactive matters in accordance with established procedures.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Respond to complex docketing questions from attorneys and staff.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Lead docket audits, including bibliographic, PTO formality, and U.S. pair inconsistency audits.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Assist with mass bibliographic data updates, matter intakes, and other docketing projects.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients while maintaining confidentiality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\"><strong>5+ years of progressive Intellectual Property docketing experience focused on trademarks.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Trademark experience is required.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Strong experience with domestic and foreign trademark matters and TTAB proceedings.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">In-depth knowledge of U.S. and international trademark docketing requirements and deadlines.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Strong experience with docketing software; PATTSY experience is highly relevant to the responsibilities of this role.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Excellent proofreading, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Ability to identify discrepancies in docket and bibliographic data and help resolve complex issues.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Ability to manage a high volume of deadline-sensitive work accurately and independently.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Strong written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li class=\"___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf\">Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3> <\/h3>\n<div class=\"paragraph-in-scc-markdown-text ___1ngh792 ftgm304 f1iaxwol\"><strong>For immediate consideration, please submit your resume in Word format.
